Return & Refund Policy
At Lovitaly Gourmet, we strive to provide the highest quality Italian food and beverage products. Due to the perishable and fragile nature of our items, we adhere to the following guidelines regarding returns and refunds.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

Timeframe: You must notify us of any issues within 7 days of receiving your order. After 7 days, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds.

Condition: To be eligible, items must be unopened, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received them.

Exclusions: * Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. All sale items are Final Sale.

Opened Goods: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or partially consumed food or beverages.

Damaged Returns: Any perishable items that are damaged during a return transit will not be refunded.

2. Customer Errors (Address & Delivery Issues)
Please be attentive when placing your order and tracking your package. If an incorrect or incomplete address is submitted:

Non-Refundable Costs: The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Restocking Fee: If you request a refund, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your total.

Reshipping Fee: * For orders that originally had Free Shipping, a $20 flat fee applies to reship the package.

For orders with Paid Shipping, the customer must pay the actual carrier shipping rate again for the second delivery attempt.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is defective, significantly damaged (excluding minor cosmetic chocolate cracking), or incorrect:

Provide Documentation: You must email photos of the item, the outer shipping box, and the shipping label within 7 days.

Hold the Item: Do not discard the product or packaging until the issue is resolved. Please refrigerate any perishables in the meantime.

Resolution: We will replace the item (subject to availability) or issue a refund. In these cases, we will cover the shipping costs for the correction.
4. Cancellations & Exchanges

Cancellations: We accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. Once dispatched, the Return Policy applies.

Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us for approval before mailing items to: 206-14 Lori Dr. 78L, NY, 11360, United States.
5. Refunds & Processing

Return Shipping: Unless the error was ours, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable.

Processing Time: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the return.

Late Refunds: If 7 business days have passed, please check with your credit card company and bank first, as processing times vary. If you still have not received it, contact us at sales@lovitalygourmet.com.
6. Gift Returns

Marked as Gift: If the item was shipped directly to you as a gift, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Not Marked as Gift: If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Lovitaly Gourmet reserves the right to deny returns or refunds if the product does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined above. This policy complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.
