Experience authentic Italian pasta craft with Cavalier Giuseppe Cocco Pennoni (Pasta Artigiana – 500g / 17.60 oz Bag). Produced and packaged at Pastificio Artigiano Cav. Giuseppe Cocco in Fara San Martino, Abruzzo, Italy (Fara San Martino – Abruzzi – Italy), this large-format tubular cut (Special Cut Pennoni) represents generations of artisanal pasta excellence (Lavorazione Artigianale).

Made with 100% certified organic durum wheat semolina (Pasta di Semola di Grano Duro Bio Prodotta in Italia / USDA Organic) and pure cold local spring water from the Verde River springs (Acqua della Sorgente di Fara San Martino), the dough is extruded through rough bronze dies (Trafila Ruvida di Bronzo) and subjected to static slow-drying at very low temperatures (Asciugamento Lento a Bassa Bassa Temperatura). This Old World process creates a porous, chalky surface texture that grips sauces. Each 500g bag yields about 9 servings (at 2 oz / 56g dry) with 200 calories and 7g of protein per serving. Cook al dente in boiling salted water for 7 to 9 minutes (Cottura al Dente 7–9 Minuti) and toss with rich Bolognese ragù, slow-simmered beef shank sugo, creamy cheese sauces, or bake inside a hearty pasta al forno.

  • Pure Abruzzese Spring Water: Mixed exclusively with pure mountain spring water from Fara San Martino.

  • 100% USDA Organic Durum Semolina: Crafted from certified organic Italian durum wheat semolina (Grano Duro Bio).

  • Rough Bronze-Die Extruded (Trafila al Bronzo): Imparts a textured, matte surface that clings to rich gravies and reductions.

  • Traditional Low-Temperature Drying: Dried slowly at gentle low temperatures to protect grain aromas and vital nutrients.

  • Special Cut Pennoni: Extra-large, ribbed tubular pasta cut engineered to capture hearty chunks of meat and vegetables.

  • Quick Al Dente Timing (7–9 Min): Cooks evenly to a firm, toothsome bite in 7 to 9 minutes.

  • Direct Product of Italy: Authentic artisan pasta from Pastificio Artigiano Cav. Giuseppe Cocco in Abruzzo.
