Maina Il Golosone Zuppa Inglese Panettone 750g is a soft, naturally leavened Panettone dough is soaked in a confectionery Alkermes cream (a liqueur with spices and sour cherries) and is then filled with a delicate whisky and cream custard (crema panna-whisky). It is finished with a sachet of cocoa powder for dusting. This version is made without the traditional candied citrus peel and sultana raisins. A complex and multi-layered flavor featuring the aromatic spice of Alkermes, the delicate sweetness of the whisky custard, and a hint of tart sour cherry and cocoa.
