Plasmon Pastina Sabbiolina is a tiny, sand-shaped pasta specifically designed for infants during the initial stages of weaning. Its name, "Sabbiolina," translates to "little sand," referencing its very small size and soft texture that makes it easy for babies to swallow. 

Preparation Instructions

Sabbiolina is quick to prepare, typically cooking in 2 to 5 minutes.

  1. Boil: Bring 200–250 ml of water or vegetable broth to a boil.

  2. Add Pasta: Pour in 2 tablespoons (approx. 24g) of Sabbiolina.

  3. Cook: Simmer for the recommended time (2 minutes for a lighter texture, up to 5 minutes depending on preference).

  4. Season: After cooking, it can be flavored with homogenised baby food, cheese, or a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil.
